Connection problem
Q. Are you having trouble connecting to your app?
If anyone has a connection problem. We highly recommend you to update your Android device system to the latest version. Our app will work more properly.
Advice :
Update your Android device by tapping Settings > About phone. In the Settings section, tap Check for updates and install the available update.
Accept all permission requests for the app to access resources on your phone, e.g. Bluetooth. If you do not accept the permission requests, your bracelet will not be connected to your phone.
If anyone is having connection issues, try turning on your location and Bluetooth at the same time. Additionally, you should know:
- Your Totwoo may not be connected to the Internet (Wi-Fi or cellular network)
- Your Totwoo may be running out of battery
- Your Totwoo and phone may be too far apart: make sure they are less than 3m apart
- Turn off your phone's internet (Wi-Fi or cellular) and turn it back on
- Go to Settings - Bluetooth (to make sure it is turned on)
- Turn off your phone's Bluetooth and turn it back on
- Go to Settings – Location (to make sure it is enabled)
Your app must be running all the time and make sure the Bluetooth and Totwoo app connect. Since the app is always automatically closed by the mobile phone due to unavoidable reasons, you need to set your phone as follows:
- Make sure the phone Not in low power mode
- Disable DND mode (Do not disturb)
- Enable Background App Refresh : Go to Settings > Totwoo > Enable Background App Refresh
- Enabling notifications : Go to setting - notifications - totwoo - enable notifications for all options
- Try to remove any other apps running in the background
- Check all settings: Me > System Settings on your Totwoo app.
- Close the Totwoo application and relaunch it (clear it from the taskbar)
- Delete and reinstall the Totwoo app
PS: The smart jewelry only works when it is connected to the app and the app is running.
